Insight from our 4-Day trip

By making this journey, I start realizing again what's important for me and my horses. To be honest, I don’t always like the horse world that much. I got the feeling that a lot of us need to prove themselves towards others and like to argue about things that in my opinion don 't always matter that much. Also quite often I got the feeling that there is some kind of competition in between horse teachers. They want to convince people about their methods because obviously that's the best one My opinion is that there doesn't exist a best method that suits everyone. A lot of them are good, it just depends for who and what kind of horse character. Just follow your intuition and feel what feels the best for you and your horse. I think a lot of us need to remember again why we started with horses. I'm convinced that this will already solve a lot of problems in our relationship with them. We were all attracted to them because of their beauty, softness, elegance,... and we just wanted to hang around with them because it looked like fun. Then of course the competition and other things came before and we lost a big part of our connection So no matter what kind of discipline you your are doing with your horse I think we may never forget to just enjoy the moment at first place
